About Murray Cleaners
Murray Cleaners is known for its efficient and reliable service. Customers have praised the business for removing tough stains, like one from a white silk dress, which was seen as a miracle. While not all repairs can be completed, they offer helpful recommendations for other services. The wash and fold service is appreciated for its cleanliness and fair pricing. Although some find the dry cleaning a bit pricey, the quality of the cleaning and pressing is highly regarded. New customers can also enjoy a 10% discount on their first visit. Overall, Murray Cleaners is a solid choice for cleaning needs.
I had five dress shirts dry cleaned here. Brought them in on a Thursday morning and they were ready by Saturday afternoon. Not the quickest service, but I was in no rush this time. The quality of the clean and press was great. No complaints there. They also offer 10% off for your first visit which was nice. I do think that ~$44 is on the pricier side of dry cleaning, but I can't complain too much!
I've been on long-term assignment in NYC and, rather than waste valuable free time sitting around a laundromat, I used them for wash-and-fold. Got my laundry done in four minutes: two to drop off, two to pick up. Once a week for the 10 weeks I've been here, I've dropped my stuff in the morning and picked it up after 6 that evening. Everything came out clean, though there were a few spots that could've been touched up ... but that's not what wash and fold does. They wash it, they dry it, they fold it. That's it, but it's usually enough. It's not ironed, either, but the hotel has an iron and board for anything that needs a little touch-up. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially for lower Manhattan. I've recommended them to several colleagues who are TDY with me, and no one's been disappointed.
I've been using for a few months now and wondering if they have changed their number? They still have my dry cleaning and no one has answered for two days now! Hoping to hear back ASAP. But if not they lost me about $700 worth of clothing.
