I discovered Miwa-Alex Salon 2 years ago. In these 2 years I have never been disappointed. I have had beautiful hair cuts and hair color with Mary and excellent blow dries with Maria. The atmosphere is very gracious and pleasant at the salon. It also has a special feature I have not found anywhere else. Besides having a traditional sink for hair washing, Miwa-Alex also has shampoo beds. At Miwa-Alex, I can lie on a bed and have my hair washed without needing to bend and hyperextend my neck. It is so much more comfortable. It is especially good for me because I have arthritis in my neck. I highly recommend this lovely salon.
Truly the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. My stylist is Terue and when I moved to NY, other hair stylists recommended Terue to me. She is an expert in cut and style. My hair looks great when I leave the salon to months later because the cut is so good and that’s saying a lot since I have so many layers! I also love the products she uses from Japan. A great salon experience all around, thanks to Terue!
Best hair cut EVER by their stylist Terue. I have wavy (more like frizzy) hair and she gave me a cut that looked amazing in the salon and still looked great months later as it grew out. She was recommended to me by other stylists when I moved to New York! A bit on the pricey side but not the crazy prices of some salons and truly a lovely salon.
