Janet is incredible. I have seen her through two pregnancies and postpartum periods. I haven’t spent on maternity clothes or really any other maternity-specific expenditures, but seeing Janet was essential. I went for one maternity massage elsewhere at the start of this pregnancy (very well known Park Slope massage practice) and it just didn’t hold a candle to Janet’s work.Her skill really changed my experience in both pregnancies and her background in sports medicine, depth of knowledge about anatomy and pregnancy are a real boon to pregnant people. This time, for instance, she managed to cure my debilitating sciatica!
This place has the most skilled prenatal masseuses. My go to place for both of my pregnancies. Can’t recommend enough.Don’t expect a spa experience (robes, waiting room, cucumber water) but rather a comfortable place to go to get a great technical massage.
I had a wonderful experience with Talata! She did everything to make sure I was very comfortable the whole time and provided a lovely massage that definitely helped relieve numerous prenatal aches and pains. I would definitely recommend them to any expecting moms!
