Dr Richards has more knowledge than any MD I have ever been to. She has resources and is able to do what other MD's dont even know about. She also was totally there for me, immediately checking in with the radiologist, daily with me after I broke 3 ribs at the height of covid. She handled everything without sending me to the hospital with all the covid patients and e/r's in chaos.

Dr. Richards is a compassionate HEALER. My family jokes that she is a "detective" in the field of medicine, uncovering problems that dozens of doctors before her missed. Her approach is scientific and logical: find the root cause of a problem through testing, examination and "interviewing" the patient, fix (or minimize) whatever is triggering the disorder, and then symptoms resolve. Her analogies make complex medical terms easy to understand. I promise you, no matter who you are, Dr. Richards can ENHANCE your health.

I have been seeing Dr. Richards for some time now; and there are a number of things she's helped me with. So, I'm just going to highlight a few of the most significant areas we've worked on. About 2 years ago, I had begun getting hot flashes. They had gotten so bad, that I mentioned it to her. She told me acupuncture could help; and before she could even finish explaining, I told her "Yes, please! Let's do it!" Dealing with the hot flashes had gotten so bad, I just wanted them to stop; and getting stuck with a bunch of needles sounded like a day in the park compared to what I was dealing with. I cannot thank her enough for the relief, that resulted from those treatments. First the flashes lessened in frequency, then they lessened in intensity, then they totally stopped! YES...they stopped. Since I've been seeing her she's helped me (with the acupuncture and Chinese herbs) get through colds, sinus infections, a back injury, and even healing from foot surgery. Speaking of foot issues; do any of you have a foot neuroma? Me too. After a few acupuncture treatments, I had so much relief that I'm out doing my walks again! Now we've started working on my allergies and asthma. With my allergies, I've already seen a big decrease in my nasal congestion. Also, I've always had a problem breathing on humid days. We've had some pretty humid days lately; and I have not had to use my asthma rescue inhaler once. People talk about "New York's Best" all the time...best burger, best pizza, best donut, best you name it. New York's got it all; including Dr. Richards. She is the best primary care physician, I have ever had.
