At Manhattan Audio South, audiologists understand the impact hearing loss has on quality of life. The experience is relaxed, with gentle and patient staff who explain the use of hearing aids with clarity. The practice offers hearing evaluation, fitting, management of hearing aids, and cognitive training to support improved hearing. Patients are now able to hear better and no longer avoid noisy social situations. When glitches occurred with hearing aids from an automatic update, an appointment was available right away for a quick fix. Options are explained clearly, and patients are prompted to take advantage of manufacturer offers before warranty expiration. However, one patient found the Horizon IX hearing aid's red Rockers confusing, the booklet did not explain how to connect to programs, and the hearing aid got disconnected from the iPhone, with no perceived benefit.
Dr Eleni Zarvos is a sensational professional. She is extremely bright, very articulate and thorough. She is patient and knowledgeable. Rarely have I encountered a professional with her talents and skills.
