Stephanie always does a great job with my hair and she listens to my needs (using my own shampoo /oils). I got a crochet retwist and stylez. She cautions me about crochet hooks and hair damage if done too often- which i appreciate and listen too carefully. Some shops won’t even do crochet retwist because i guess they woudl rather you come back more often for comb retwist$… Don’t fall for that!

My first time here( 6/18) for a retwist and loc repair and they DID NOT disappoint. I met with Orin for my appointment and he is super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about locs. We started on time for my appointment and finished in a reasonable amount of time. The salon has a nice vibe, not loud and definitely warm and inviting. I was also present to see the work of the other Loctician , I believe her name is Stephanie. She is also BEYOND amazing with work. Super super gifted. I'm so grateful I've found this place. I cannot sing enough praises about Locks N Chops. Thank you Orin. You did a beautiful job on my hair and I'm forever grateful.

This salon is so positive and welcoming. Every time I consider going somewhere else, I change my mind because they deserve my loyalty. The staff is from every part of the Caribbean and the conversations range from the Haitian Revolution to Caribbean food and then Garveyism. I started my Locs here and still go back.
