The salon is a neighborhood gem, with the colorist Carlos being particularly praised for his natural-looking and long-lasting work.
First time in the salon and I have one of my best experience with Carlos! So professional, knowledgeable in his work and the place itself is classy and quiet! Definitely coming back!
This is a gem of a hair salon, Carlos is an excellent and experienced stylist. I have been getting my haircut for several years there, never disappointed and have referred several friends that are also very happy with the service and haircuts. Lavish Hair Salon has moved to a larger contemporary space at 401 E. 83rd St. as of July 2024.
I love everything about this place. The people that run it are just such genuine beautiful people. They give amazing hair cuts/color and their prices are super fair. I will probably be going here till they close or I die
