Ive the Beautician in Harlem that cares about her customers. She is knowledgeable, talented and honest! She makes you feel at home and your hair will love you for going to her!

Requested style: I have been going to Ive for 12 years. I was always afraid to try things with my hair. 12 years later I have done color highlights layers even changed my hair treatments as your hair needs different things at different times! Loved every change we tried!

Hair type: I have highlights color and a perm. However, I have brought my friends with natural, fine, curly and various other types of hair and Ive always works her magic!

Prices are not reasonable. If you have 4C or kinky long hair this salon may not be for you especially for little girls with thick natural hair. They use detangle brushes rather than a roller brush to blow dry hair. Detangle method is to rip out and comb hair rather than finger detangle and separate hair in sections. Ends were puffy and frizzy even after using a flat iron. Had to go home and use flat iron with comb method to get ends straight.

I've been going to Ive for a while now. Ive is wonderful with a good heart. Her shop is very homey and comfortable and she takes good care of all her clients. The shop is also in the neighborhood, I sometimes go andand get my hair done right after the gym and be ready for church the next day.I love when she is done with my hair, its soft , silky, shiny and I feel beautiful.
