Rafael and Ignacio are great. Very kind and professional. No fuss - come in and they get to you as soon as possible. The whole process was easy and in the end the quality is fantastic. (That said, I didn't price compare. I had a referral to them and their reputation was more important to me than price.)
A high-end designer store recommended Ignacio's for tailoring their items several years ago. I have been going here ever since, and they consistently do a very good job. George has a good eye for subtle adjustments that improve the fit of garments, the quality of work is always good, and things are ready when promised. EDIT: had to add this because I was so impressed: I brought them a Dior jacket in the classic “Bar jacket” style, that I got at a great deal from the Dior outlet but that needed tailoring including narrowing the shoulders and modifying the body fit. Miracle workers!!! I've come here for a few years, they always do a great job with tailoring my suits and dresses to look perfect. Last week I brought in 17 items that required mending, hemming etc and I'm particularly impressed with how they mended my leather skirt. It had a tear down the entire backside because I sat on something sharp and the leather ripped. They fixed it and it looks like nothing happened!
