We recently had a deck completed by Handyman of New York (Andre) and were very disappointed with the outcome. Both ourself and our neighbor were so disappointed that we are going to most likely hire another carpenter to come back and redo both decks. Andre is a very nice person but he is very sloppy and when the deck was finally completely there were multiple floor boards sticking up, screws everywhere, and parts of the railing that were very disjointed and choppy. He also has a tendency to leave the job site in complete chaos at the end of the workday, which lead to numerous complaints from our neighbors and me personally having to organize the materials on almost a... read full review

I used this company to install two ceiling fans and three light fixtures. There was a few minor hiccups but overall I think this business does care about doing a good job. I had to have them come back adjust a few things but everything worked out.

I called sears and they forgot about me. So I called them Kind of a ragtag bunch of guys but they got the job done and were very friendly. I hung around during the install to watch how they did it --they knew what they were doing. They also did it on very short notice after SEARS didn't show up for an appointment. So as for bailing me out they get good review They should just clean up after a bit more.
