I am so beyond great full to AJ. She gave my hair life and grace once again. She saved my hair form what turned out to be a nightmare at a previous salon. My hair looks vibrant and beautiful, exactly what she promised me it would. I'm so happy with the end result, I will be back to see her in the summer for sure!!! She is worth the money... Thank you

I have gone to AJ Lordet since I was 19 years old. Since I'm writing this review to be read on the Interwebs and not by someone who knows my age, that's roughly 16 years as her client. And here's the thing with AJ: she's not just the best colorist in the city. She's also a color therapist, the kindest and most generous soul, and as hilarious a person as one could hope to meet. It's become a joke that at least once a year I drastically change my (naturally dirty blonde) color: from blonde to BLONDE to red to scarlet to ginge to blonge to white-blonde to natural with a glow, she is truly an artist. I look forward to my visits with her as I do an intimate tea with a lifelong friend; it's an escape from life with someone I entirely trust and adore. She is meticulous, open, consistent, creative, and has the lightest but most impactful touch. Her balayage is perfection. I started seeing her when her home was at Frederic Fekkai's Chanel location, then to Henri Bendel, to Pierre Michel, and now, in a full circle transition, a senior-level role at Frederic Fekkai Madison Avenue. I recommend her to friends and colleagues alike, and am grateful I went to her for a consultation that day in 1748 (or so it feels). I can't imagine not having AJ in my life, and there is no one else I'd trust with my hair (and I'm spectacularly OCD about color and tone). All this to say, she's swell. Go see her. Just don't take my appointment.

This is my first experience at Fredric Fekkai. Upon arrival, the receptionist who was pleasant, and had a big smile greeted me. I was led to the changing area to get on a rob. Samida, Patrick’s assistant who was super nice, attentive and friendly greeted me, offered me a drink, helped me get comfortable and introduced me to the stylist, Patrick. As with any studio, you need to find the right stylist that fits your needs. Someone that is able to put your vision into action, Patrick did it all, he’s an Artist and not your regular hairdresser. He first spend time studying me facial features and gave me good advice as to what compliments my face. I wanted a nice bob, he spend more than an hour, cutting and layering my hair. He asked his assistant, Samida to style my hair, after styling he spend more time making sure everything was even. This is a work on an ARTIST, he gave me a beautiful short bob style!!! Patrick is a well-cured Artist that really understands his client’s needs; he gave me sound advice as how to maintain my hair post salon visit. I really enjoyed the staff at Fekkai, especially his assistant Samida who could not do enough to ensure that I received excellent service the entire time I was there. She gave me celebrity service without the status! This experience helped me shape the difference between a hairdresser and an Artist. Thank you #Teamfekkai #PatricandSamida
