I’ve had a speeding ticket recently in Rye, NY. It was 50/30 mph, 20 miles over the limit, 6 points projected. Unlike NYC courts, they don’t reschedule hearings numerous times for years forward over there. Therefore, 6 points is a significant threat, especially when NYS switched to 10 points for suspension and 24 months points duration on the record since the beginning of 2026. I didn’t hesitate seeking for a legal help in that matter.

Got my case dismissed so can’t complain. If you got a traffic ticket in NYC over 20mph highly recommend. The retainer fee is a +ev play even for a 50% chance of getting ticket dismissed
