I engaged the firm EisnerAmper for the preparation of my company's tax return as well as my personal tax return. I will overlook the errors made by EisnerAmper in handling my company's procedures; however, regarding my personal tax return, I had to deal with several different people within the firm due to frequent staff changes. I paid significant amounts to complete my US tax return, only to realize after consulting with other lawyers and accountants that EisnerAmper had not even considered the tax treaty between my country of birth and the US. Six months ago we needed to retain an accounting firm to calculate simple, unaudited financial estimates for our company. We initially thought to retain one of the Big Four firms. Unfortunately, we surmised that as the calculations were quite basic in nature and that no audit confirmation was necessary, we could use a smaller, local firm. We contacted the firm EisnerAmper LLP in Sacramento, California. In our initial contact we spoke with the Managing Director Ms. Jolene Fraser.
