Visitors and students enjoy a patient and supportive atmosphere, with instructors who are dedicated and knowledgeable. Overall, Earthworks Pottery is highly recommended for anyone wanting to try pottery or continue their ceramic journey in a calm and encouraging space.
I took part in a private event at Eathworks and had great time. It was my first time trying pottery and I loved it. The instructor was patient and spent enough time with each participant, answered all questions. We had lots of fun. Definitely worth trying!
I've been doing ceramics here since Feb 2025 and it's now June. I absolutely love it. I started right after the new owner Shannon started and it's such a chill, welcoming atmosphere. My class is taught by Abby on Wednesdays, who is really patient, an excellent instructor, and an incredible potter herself. I highly recommend taking classes here! I’ve taken classes with the previous and new owners and both have been great experiences. The current owner, Shannon, has breathed new life into the studio. Earthworks now offers new events and makes pottery even more accessible by having tools available to students. The studio is now well organized, policies are clear, and response time is amazing. Pottery is such a zen activity—I can always count on Earthworks to bring me a sense of peace and community as soon as I walk through the doors.
