Always on time with their repairs, courteous, relatively reasonably priced (for the location and the fact that they're conveniently in the office). They try to work with the customer's schedule and accommodate rush or irregular pick ups (e.g., "I have to catch a plane at 17:20, can you please make sure they're done by 15:00 so that I can pick them up on the way out"), and are usually good about contacting as/when goods appear. Have used them on work boots, heels, flats on choos, ferragamos and santoni, and the soles/toe caps/heels look fine and fairly innocuous vs having the appearance of a black rubber tire nailed to your bottoms. Great place to get a quick but thorough shoe shine. In addition, they redid the heels on a pair of shoes which were blue. Highly recommended.

Dr. Shine is expensive for repairs, but the work is amazing. Can take a beat up old shoe or boot, even with torn leather, and make it look like new. Reheels, replacing zippers, salt stains, stripping color and re-coloring - all like magic. The shine people are also terrific and do an excellent job - among the best in the City. You may be able to find cheaper, but you won't find better.
