However, what takes Dr. Jacono to another level are three things: 1) his patient care and bedside manner 2) his staff 3) the overall experience from before the surgery through aftercare.
We live in Texas, but after thoroughly researching Dr. Jacono, we decided to make the trip to New York for the procedure. All of the preop consults were virtual, and Dr. Jacono explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions during these consults. I wasn't sure about what procedures I wanted, but I was sure that I wanted to look natural and refreshed after the surgery. Dr. Jacono guided me as to the procedures and expected results.
Our preop guidance was handled by Jaime, his extraordinary surgical coordinator. She guided us from what hotel to stay at, to what preop treatments and supplements we should take, to nurses that were able to take care of us in the days following the procedure (they were phenomenal) and kindly answered all of our questions having to do with all aspects of the procedure.
For our first in-person consult, I was impressed, not only with Dr. Jacono’s expertise and confident recommendations, but his kindness and patience in explaining the procedures and answering our questions. He definitely gave me confidence that I had made the right decision, not only in choosing him, but in the procedures that he would do.
His office is beautiful yet small because he sees few patients and I was the only surgical patient the day of my procedure. The surgery center is on-site and I stayed overnight with a very efficient and kind nurse who has been with Dr. Jacono for many years. His staff is extraordinary - kind, knowlegeable, confident and have been with Dr. Jacono for years. A testament to Dr. Jacono and how he treats everyone.
After the procedure, Dr. Jacono recommends hyperbaric oxygen therapy.I stayed for about 10 days after the procedure for follow up and the hyperbaric oxygen sessions. I am glad I had the therapy.
