About Dance Project of Washington Heights
Dance Project of Washington Heights is a non-profit dance program dedicated to making dance education accessible and building a strong community. It offers a variety of dance classes for all ages, from babies to adults, taught by diverse and qualified teachers. All classes and dance-themed vacation camps are Pay-What-You-Can. The studio is warm, spacious, and well-lit, with friendly staff and a supportive environment. The organization hosts community events, performances, volunteer opportunities, and social gatherings that foster connection among local artists. Additionally, it provides hourly studio and event rentals, including entertainment-filled birthday parties. Located conveniently off the A train, it is a welcoming neighborhood spot that encourages participation and connection through dance.
