The West 88th Street urgent care on the Upper West Side offers quick and easy services. The facility is very clean, and the staff is polite and knowledgeable. The reception staff are courteous, kind, and accommodating. The doctor demonstrated empathy, insight, and attentiveness, listening to concerns with genuine care. The doctor exhibited a modern approach, strong clinical skills, and effective communication. The radiology technician was patient and friendly, providing clear guidance. The doctor's advice was calming and good. One patient was told a wound was deep and received good advice to go to the ER for stitches and a CT scan, which was clear. Another patient was seen efficiently with information asked for clearly. A patient post-seizure found the doctor knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and funny. However, a different CityMD location on 104th St. had a very bad experience with an unfriendly receptionist who followed an insane reservation policy, causing a patient with a broken ankle to leave. In contrast, this location confirmed that reservations would be seen before walk-ins. Overall, experiences here were fantastically highly positive.
