I found Built when I was trying to navigate the new and confusing NYC Dept of Buildings TPP "Tenant Protection Plan" inspection compliance process. It's a real ambiguous area and this company was knowledgeable. But what really motivated me to write this is what happened after calling: turns out, my residential project was exempt from weekly inspections. Many inspection companies would be unscrupulous and withhold that info, but David Brinkman at Built Engineers helped me figure out I was exempt. But what really motivated me to write this is what happened after calling: turns out, my residential project was exempt from weekly inspections. Many inspection companies would be unscrupulous and withhold that info, but David Brinkman at Built Engineers helped me figure out I was exempt. It helped me save what could have been $15,000+ of unnecessary costs, that their company could have received. So not only their knowledge on the area, it's their professionalism that makes them exceptional. One other thing: I called a half dozen companies and not only did a person, David, pick up. They took the time to listen. A class act through and through and couldn't recommend Built Engineers more sincerely.
