Best Shoe Repair & Shine is a wonderful cobbler in New York. They saw work boots and took great care of reconditioning them; it was very special and satisfying the way the boots were renovated. The cobbler has incredible attention to detail and craftsmanship, doing a phenomenal job with purse repair, fixing a broken strap on a very old purse in just an hour while conditioning the leather and sewing the other side securely. Boots that were nearly falling apart were made to look basically brand new. The service is reasonably priced and done in good time, ranging from a day to a week. The cobbler also went above and beyond in service and integrity, buying an entire other backpack just to replace a broken buckle. Customers have been coming for about a year with new and vintage boots, sneakers, and Margiela Tabi’s, trusting only this business with their shoes.
Absolutely top notch work and service. Premium products with highly skilled craftsmanship. I brought in a pair of quite busted up tabi boots I have worn for a number of years to be essentially completely resoled (a complicated task for even experienced cobblers) and I was able to even pick them up same day for a very reasonable cost. I wish I had a before photo to share to demonstrate just how beautiful their work was with my shoes but the after photos speak for themselves.
Amazing service! All other cobblers were having me wait a week or so for just new soles at the bottom.
Sasha was able to do it in one day. I dropped them off at 5 PM and was able to pick them up at 12:30 PM next day!
He brought new life into the shoes. I thrifted these Gucci loafers and I now have my forever pair of shoes thanks to him. Will always recommend them!
They saw my work boots and took great care of reconditioning them. It was very special and satisfying the way my work boots were renovated. It takes years to wear in a great pair of boots and it is well worth it to have them shined and reconditioned along your adventures. Don’t forget a pedicure also!
