My experience meeting Andrew DiSimone was great....I went to American Cancer Society and I fell in love with the first wig I tried on....He was very friendly, kind, and had me with a huge smile the entire time i was there...He gave me encouraging advice by saying continue to smile and keep up the positive attitude and you will get through this....I appreciate what he did for me and what he does for others....
About two weeks ago, my husband and I visited Andrew DiSimone Wigs in midtown Manhattan. I had undergone my first chemo infusion the day before, and we wanted to choose a wig while I still had my own hair as a guide. Andrew met with us, explained what he had available, and also showed us a number of donated wigs. He patiently took time with us, helping me to choose a wig that matched the texture of my own hair quite well. In addition, he gave me several accessories at no charge.
