I needed to get a dress altered. The dress was too long and needed to be taken in around my waist and hips as well. The tailor came out and pinned me exactly to how it should fit. I came back in one week later and the it was perfect! The length was exactly what it needed to be and it fit so much better around my body.
Covid Alterations! I lost 30 pounds over covid. Now I barley fit into any of my clothes! I brought 6 suits, 4 pants, and 2 extra sport jackets. It’s a lot of stuff! I rather not buy new suits now because I still may loose more weight, so I figured alteration them would be best for now. WOW. They did an amazing job trimming everything down. It was a lot of work! The suit jackets were trimmed down all the way from the sides, and all the pants had to be tapered all the way down. The sport jackets needed the most work since I bought them when I was at my biggest. They needed to be narrowed at the shoulders too. I feel like a just got a brand new wardrobe! ...read full review
I had such a great experience at Alteration Shop!! The tailors here are EXCELLENT!! I had a dress that was way too big and I thought there would be no way to save it…but I brought it to alteration shop and they took it in through the entire body and made the dress fit me perfectly! It looks brand new! I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on how well this dress fits. Since then I’ve taken 2 more dress and 3 skirts tailored at Alteration Shop. They nailed every single one!
