The massage I received at this neighborhood bodywork studio loosened my tight muscles and sore back. The masseuse was exceptionally strong and instinctively found his way to my problem areas. While the set up is simple, the facilities were comfortable and he used hot stones and nice oil. I walked in tight and stiff and left relaxed and more flexible. I highly recommend Akai Wellness Center for therapeutic massages.

Found by chance, read many 5 star reviews. Tried 1 hr. Deep tissue massage by Allan. Excellent work and excellent price. As the other reviews said, this is not a high end, chi-chi place… come here for a straight up great massage to heal your body. Small private room, basic- but massage was A+. Hot towels, stones, very experienced body work. They offer other services that I will try. If you’re not picky about how the place looks, but want a big bang for your buck, go.

If you are looking for a Foo Foo massage this is not it. Very therapeutic in the most necessary way. I suffer from an increased amount of muscle tightness in my back and LiLi (probably spelled wrong) has worked miracles on me. I started going once a week. After 4 weeks I started going every other week 3 times. Now I am down to once every 3-4 weeks.
