Hoover Architecture, PLLC creates green, sustainable, gorgeous architecture. The firm is a full service commercial and residential architecture firm located in the Hudson Valley. The work is varied and can be found in Ulster, Orange and Dutchess Counties of upstate New York. The extensive portfolio is borne out of diverse design projects from private companies to non-profits, as well as ongoing consultancies. The firm specializes in the design of custom residential single-family homes in addition to commercial work such as retail, healthcare, commercial offices, as well as local, state and federal agencies. The experience of working with the architect on both commercial and residential projects has been commendable. The architect demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and professionalism in every aspect of the architectural work. The architect is dependable, collaborative, and consistently brings a positive, solution-oriented mindset to the project. Clients could not have realized their upstate home dreams without this architect. The architect is kind and considerate, knowledgeable and easy to work with. The architect works off a cost per hour basis, which was significantly less expensive than peers. The architect took the vision and turned it into a reality. The architect expertly captured priorities and was creative about modifications to plans that would reduce costs. The architect clearly explained the permitting process and referred clients to excellent contractors.
My experience in working with Kim on both commercial and residential projects has been commendable. During these projects, Kim has demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical expertise, and professionalism in every aspect of her architectural work. In addition to her technical abilities, Kim is an absolute pleasure to work with. She is dependable, collaborative, and consistently brings a positive, solution-oriented mindset to the project. We simply could not have realized our upstate home dreams without Kim. She is so kind and considerate, so knowledgeable and easy to work with... Whereas most high-end architects charge an exorbitant fee as a % of whatever they design, Kim works off a cost per hour basis, which was significantly less expensive than her peers... for what I would consider superior results. We wanted a custom, modernist home that still felt cozy AND fit our specific forested lot... and she delivered our dream in spades. We are so fortunate that Kim Hoover planned our renovation. She expertly captured our priorities and was creative about modifications to our plans that would reduce costs. She clearly explained the permitting process and referred us to excellent contractors. Thanks to Kim we love our home and the process was much less stressful than we imagined!
