I honestly do not know where I would be 4 years after being diagnosed with stage 3ckd. Ii have a wonderful primary doctor who practices in homeopathy and he was not terribly concerned. I was so he sent me to a nephrologist. Very nice man but not much advice. I needed more like all of you! Dr Henderson has been so helpful and most of all calming!!!! I feel better every time we talk and that is everything!!!!! I try my best to follow her advice and I am so grateful to her for getting me through this scary disease.
Dr. Henderson is an answer to my prayers. Literally. I've been living with polycystic kidney disease for nearly 30 years. All was going seemingly well until my last set of labs. My nephrologist basically said that we will monitor my labs and hope dialysis can be pushed back. I was in shock. I wanted to find a different approach. One that was proactive, not reactive. One that's not based on the sickness model. Dr. Henderson has SO MUCH wisdom and knowledge regarding supplements, lifestyle and holistic approaches. I've never had a more life giving, productive one hour appointment. I already have so much more hope. I will update this post once I have time to implement her protocol and get updated labs. Dr. Henderson was very thorough and came up with a very detailed approach to my situation. She patiently answered all my questions and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend her!
