I love this place! I come here once or 2x a month. I worked in a high end spa and have gone to many. This is not that. But they are very effective and nice and give a great massage, at least what I ask for which is like a deep tissue. They do have a tipping policy but that shouldn’t bother you if you’re a decent human being. Personally believe my massage therapist should get $30 an hour for the help they provide in feeling better and would do more if I could. The very affordable massage price barely covers the rent, products and insurance the building prob needs…
I do wish they had a little more soundproofing but I doze off every time anyway
This is a very clean, legitimate spa. I always try to get the same massage therapist, (Yu Yu). I had scoliosis growing up, and I work on my feet sometimes up to 14-16 hours a day. It takes a toll on my back, neck, and shoulders. Every time I get a massage from Yu Yu, I feel completely different. All the pain, pressure on my joints, all of it, gone. I love this spa.
We had a couple's massage in a double room. We received really good, 1 hour deep tissue massages as requested. The pricing is excellent for the massage, but you should not expect any luxurious amenities. This space is basic and straight to the point. Leave your belongings at home or in the car, as the space is small and there is no storage. We left feeling much more relaxed than when we went in.
