Powerhouse Gym Nanuet is a clean and spacious gym with a wide range of equipment. The locker rooms are large and showers are modern. The gym offers a convenient sign-up process and accommodating staff. Recently, the gym added a new powerlifting room with tons of different bars and free weights, as well as machines that target specific muscles better than standard gyms. The staff is approachable and friendly, creating a welcoming environment for newcomers. The gym is not crowded, making workouts comfortable and not overwhelming. While some machines may break down and require maintenance, the overall selection of strength and cardio equipment is good. The gym is well-maintained, and new machines are added regularly, maintaining a fresh and functional space. The locker rooms are decent, but some areas may be busy. Despite some minor issues, Powerhouse Gym Nanuet provides a positive workout experience with friendly staff and a clean environment.
Update: the monthly price was increase following the updates - honestly if the new suana was working properly it would've been okay but it never heats up properly -like if you're gonna spend money on a suana and charge more membership at least do it right
Update : They have just fully reinvented themselves and this place is better than ever. All new equipment, and they're adding additional dumbell racks, the place is also freshly painted. I love this gym and hope it doesn't get too crowded. 6/19/26

This gym really listens to their members. They solicited feedback in a survey recently and implemented many of the changes including a sauna upgrade to cedar, brand new shake bar, and new equipment. Everyone in the community and staff is so kind. If you try the new shake bar, have Dan the Man make it!

Awesome gym. Very clean and the equipment is always functional. In the event a piece of equipment isn't working, there is a sign posted on the equipment along with eventual updates as to when it will be repaired. I came from another gym in New City that turned into a social hangout for high schoolers in the afternoon. At powerhouse, everyone, young and old, are there to get a good workout in and move on. Highly recommend this gym
