Had a hair emergency and was looking for salon near me that opens the earliest as I can’t wait to have my hair color corrected. I’m so thankful for this salon for getting me in this morning so last minute! I had root touch-ups and highlights around 3 months ago. Greys were coming out and after days of “googling”, I decided to use semi-permanent color (Combination of sterling with drops of black in a brand marketed as vegan, cruelty-free, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide free) thinking that this will blend my gray and at the same time make my highlights not too yellow but ashy. A little expensive blow dry and cut was 65 then deep treatment another 25 for medium to long hair so paid 90 plus tip, but i will say she did do a great job. She cares what she does because when she saw my hair could use a hot iron, she did it without some kind of extra cost in order to leave facility looking good and not dry and terrible. I still love my dominican places but i did not dislike my experience there.

I'm one of those people that generally avoids hair salons. I have sensory issues and getting my hair cut gives me anxiety. I'm not really stylish so I don't really know what I want other than shorter than it is right now, and I don't like people touching my head... I usually end up going to get my hair cut about every year and a half, when my level of annoyance at the length trumps my disdain of getting it cut. All of that is to establish that I'm not much of a fan of salons and avoid them like the plague. Honestly, though, I was surprised with this place.
