When I first walked in, my hair was extremely dry and damaged, I had a ton of grays, and I was honestly really nervous about coloring it. In the past, I’ve gone to different salons where my hair was over-processed and left feeling even more damaged, so trusting someone with my hair again was a big deal for me. But what makes The Painted Gypsy even more special is the girls themselves. They are genuinely kind, friendly, open, honest, and completely nonjudgmental. There is such a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere there. You never feel judged or uncomfortable, and you never feel like they’re trying to push something on you just to make a sale. They’re honest about what they recommend, they listen to what you want, and you can tell they genuinely care about making you feel comfortable and beautiful.

Ava and Andrea are both incredibly talented, but beyond that, they are just genuinely wonderful people. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone. Finding a salon where you trust the people, feel completely comfortable being yourself, AND leave loving your hair is rare!!! and I’m so happy I found that here.
