Had a UTI. Knew what it was. Wait time was under 15 minutes. The NP who took care of me was efficient and caring. Helped me get everything I needed even though it was closing time. They sent an email to my pharmacy and helped it get done fast. My husband needed help from this same center last month and had a very good experience. I would not hesitate to go back.
Wow. I’m an experienced bone breaker, and I’m in awe of how great the entire team at this location was to work with. I had no appointment, walked in with a flight to catch in 3 hours at Newark, and they got me in, entered into their system, initial check by nurse Juliana, x-rays completed and read by radiologist at other location, and then all explained in detail and arm splinted/cast, out the door at exactly the moment we had hoped for to make that flight. Dr. Sobi was fantastic, as were the entire staff, including the check in receptionists, who also helped me maintain my calm with nice smiles and comments. I would highly recommend this particular facility (I've not used Optum Urgent Care before) based upon the excellent level of care I received from all associates I dealt with on my recent visit.
I had been on an airplane within 48 hours of feeling a very sore throat and head congestion. My plans included visiting with Dad who is 97 and in a rehab/nursing facility as well as with family members including young children and a newborn. The primary goal was to rule out or get treatment for anything contagious.
My test results were ready within 90 minutes and Dr. Meyer phoned me promptly.
