I have only gone to have Julie do my hair but all the people working are very welcoming and kind. Julie has a magic most people don’t have! She talks to you, and not the salon gossip. She first starts with what you want, after she explains from her pov what she thinks which coming from someone who knows what she’s doing helps! Julie really does an amazing job with coloring I have never ever been disappointed. I recommend Julie to anyone I know and haven’t had anyone else touch my hair in many years!

I’ve been coming to John Paul even before he opened Montrose Hair Studio, and he is easily the best barber I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. He has impeccable skills with scissors, clippers, and combs, and he is incredibly personable and affordable. One of the biggest testaments to his skills is that i moved down to Yonkers 8 years ago, and even with the distance, John Paul is still the only barber I’ll ever go to, and I regularly make the 40 minute drive just to see him
