I have gone here with my dog for the last 10 years. They have always been kind to me and my dog. They were the ones that I had put down my last dog, very empathetic and understanding. And my tears were falling where I could hardly speak. They let me stay with her right up to the end. Now 10 years later it was time to put my last dog down. I called and got an appointment. But my dog crossed the rainbow bridge at home in his bed the day I was suppose to have it done. I called and they said I could bring him down and just call when I got there and they came out to get him to be cremated. Making it a lot easier on me. This is probably hands down the best veterinary service I have ever brought my animals to and will continue to always bring them to. 💓💓They truly make my family feel at ease.
Had to take Charlie in for a check-up and found he has diabetes and due to that, he has gone blind. Apparently, this is an issue that runs in beagles. He is 9 yrs old this year, so he is more a senior dog. I've had him as a puppy, but it breaks my heart that this has happened to him. The staff at Lakeside is sympathetic for him, and we will do all we need to for him. He has a fenced-in backyard and another beagles to keep him company. Rosie is an adopted rescue and has been with him for almost 5 years. More testing will be needed to see if the insulin dosage is adequate for him. I guess it is just one of those things, but we will be dealing with it until the day arrives....read full review
