I used this accountant for years, because my parents did and I trusted that. Over the years things have gotten worse and worse, to the point of the IRS coming after me for almost 20K. The monthly mistakes with our business and personal taxes, the late fees (that she paid) and the constant utterly amazing all CAPS emails. Maybe good once, but not good now. This accountant screwed a family with four little girls and didn't care enough to pick up the phone when I told her how frustrated I was via email with three pages of details. Not a good human, and certainly not a good accountant in any stretch.

Very unprofessional rude and I found to be in my opinion. Very dishonest. She has a mouth like a truck driver which she doesn’t attempt to hide while working.Barbara didn’t give invoices or receipts and overcharged for hours. She was unable to focus on our meeting as she had repairmen in and out and took calls throughout the hour. She’s . Scattered and unprofessional and information provided was incomplete and partially incorrect. Her and her employee made a ridiculous show after a client came, sat a few minutes and left, saying he smelled, they were throwing perfume around saying he smelled like urine. So, Id read reviews that she was unprofessional but it didnt bother me because I like to make decisions for myself.After about an hour on the phone she said she was going to work on looking at some tax returns Id emailed to her and wed make an appointment when she returned from a vacation she was going in in a couple of days.I told her as wed been in the phone about 40 minutes to an hour and f she was doing work, I wanted to pay her and asked for a cost.She said she worked 6 hours and I owned her $750 and I paid her cash in her box she said she received but gave no receipt for.She didnt sent an invoice but I figured shed explain it when we met, giving her the benefit... read full review
