My backstory...I had always done my own hair color but decided to take a break and grow out my hair during the pandemic. 15 months later, my science experiment is over and I decided that I needed the help of a professional to prepare me for my post COVID life. Enter Dao! I had asked several friends/family for suggestions, but the recommendation from a trusted friend who uses Dao's services was, by far, the most passionate! I have been going to Dao ever since my mom brought me to her (when she worked for another salon) to get my hair done before my 8th grade dance (many years ago). I have since continued to go to her throughout the years as she worked from home & opened up her own place (also years ago now:). I have been to other stylists throughout the years, whenever I lived away from Long Island or randomly tried a Groupon, in order to save a buck or two. But, going to Dao is worth every dollar spent. She puts her heart & soul into her work, every time. Been going to dao for 15 years & everytime i go my hair just gets better and better. I'm super selective ! dao will take the time you need to get the hairstyle and highlights you are looking for. I am no longer in the area but when i am i try to go to dao as she really takes her craft to the next level. I recommend to anyone who is picky and nervous about getting their hair done . She listens and does whatever u want - times 1000!! Thank u dao !
