We were without heat from the week of Thanksgiving 2024 until January 23, 2025. After several attempts at getting our furnace repaired, getting Covid Christmas week and losing a parent the second week of January, we had given up hope and decided to wait out winter with space heaters. When we got our December electric bill in January, we decided it would be cheaper not to wait till spring. We contacted Pam at MPB and explained our situation. Pam was able to fit us in within 2 weeks and even called us when she had a cancellation and got to us sooner. It turned out the estimated cost to repair our 10-year-old furnace would be more than half the cost of a new one with a warranty and service contract. Just to get the parts would take weeks, and we could have the new furnace installed the next day. It was a no-brainer. Mark and Brad were out the next morning and the new furnace was installed in a few hours. Unfortunately, the baseboard lines throughout the house had frozen due to extremely cold temperatures so the furnace could not kick on. Mark told us to strategically place space heaters around the house to help thaw the lines and to test the system in a few days. Fortunately, this happened during the week we had temperatures above freezing, but it did take 4 days before the lines thawed, and the furnace kicked on. Thank you MPB Plumbing for all you did to restore our heat. 5 STARS for sure!!!!
My furnace recently stopped working. So I was stressed out to say the least. I called MPB and they were so incredibly helpful! They came over right away and wrote an estimate the same day. Then my new furnace was installed within days. I can’t say enough about how kind, prompt, professional and courteous Pam, Mark and Brad have been. Top notch service! 5 Stars!
When I had 2 people never return my calls, 1 person gave me a very high estimate.. I reached out to MPB.. they came out as soon as they could to look at my issue, gave me an estimate by the next day and had me on their schedule within less than 2 weeks ( mind you this was around Christmas and the cold spell) now I am going to them first from now on
