I absolutely love this place. I am so grateful for all of the work they do and how much they have helped me. I have Rheumatoid, Osteoarthritis and degenerative disk disease and the first time I went to them I could no longer walk easily definitely couldn't walk heel to toe, and When I got my first trigger point injections I still could not get off the table by myself. (not their fault. I walked in like that) I am now walking easily and jumping off the table. I am doing the Accupuncture with Matt and the Trigger points with Marty and I added yoga. I am in my 60s and I am doing yoga and loving it. I spend some of the time laughing at myself as I said, I am in my 60s and haven't bent like that in a long time. :) I am having so much fun and actively living life again... Feels great. I highly recommend all of them.... I just signed up for 6 months of yoga. If you are reading this, you probably need this and you should try it...
I have have herniated discs, arthritis in my neck, numerous surgeries (ACL surgery, torn bicept/ligaments in my thumb and chronic pain resulting from years of being an "adrenaline junkie" (motor cycle accidents, snowboarding, weightlifting and the list goes on and on!!! I looked up massage therapists in Melville NY and discovered Circle Wellness! My wife is a teacher and we have NYSHIP insurance. I found out that NYSHIP pays for 20 medical massages /and 20 acupuncture sessions per year! I thought I would be paying $150-$200 for a medical massage so this was like finding a "diamond in the rough." Now that's great but...... how are the massages and would after the acupuncture + massage sessions? I say that because my time and health, is worth more than the cost. Pete is one of the owners and the first massage therapists I went to and on a scale of 1-10 and I'm a tough critic, I would rate my experience a 9+. Matt was my acupuncture/cupping therapist and and he was amazing also 9+. So what would have made me give them a 10? If i didnt have to leave my house. haha. Seriously, ive been to 4 other therapists at circle wellness because pete wasnt available when I was and they were all great and had different styles. I have 5 kids 2 businesses and a demanding lifestyle so on top of the aches and pains this is an outlet for me to relax and rejuvenate. my wife goes about 2x a month because she standing on her feel all day and used to be a division 1 runner in college so she has all sorts of aches and pains as well. when she feels better my life is better! (anyone married knows what i mean) I dont leave reviews often but Pete asked me to share my experience and all i can say is that if you live near meville, have NYSHIP or need a therapeutic massage even if you pay out of pocket $150 for the massage or acu session, you will be happy with the experience. they are great people and make you feel much better than before you came.... If you dont live in near melville and cant make it to circle wellness explore your insurance benefits, you earned and are paying for them!
