My review of Leslie's Pools in Centereach, NY is based on my overall experience with them. I have a 40K gallon in-ground pool and I bring my water to be tested every 7- 10 days. The staff is always courteous & attentive. The store manager Katy is usually busy with a customer or two but still goes out of her way to chime in and assist whenever she can. I respect when workers can multi-task and still do a great job and that is the treatment I've always received from Katy and the rest of her staff. I always leave there with the chemicals and or the knowledge of what my next steps are to keep my pool in great shape. checked online for stocking item only this store show that they have it but went over there and they don't have it but they was super friendly and help me to check in the back but it's out of stock but they willing to help me to order it and ship it to my house for free. thanks.

All we can say is John is the man!! We have been having pool issues since last season. Algae and cloudy water continually. We've spent a fortune on chems. He tested our water yesterday - perfect! So John says, "Lets troubleshoot. Let's start with the pool." Turns out the filter Intex provides is not sufficient for the pool size. He showed us the appropriate filter and didn't pressure us into buying it. Wanting a clear pool we bought it and less than 12-hours later our pool is crystal clear. Chems still good. Everyone, do me a favor - stop going to Island Rec and give Leslie's a shot. You won't regret it!!
