The worst hair experience I’ve ever had. Literally just go anywhere else. If I could give them a one I would. These ladies are rude and unhygenic and they even have roaches. I once saw a roach crawling on one of the hairstylists. Like others have mentioned they will talk behind your back in their language. They don’t care about your hair and they will rip it out and get mad at you when you ask rhem to be gentle.

They should be embarrassed to call themselves African braiders. Their work is completely mediocre, sloppy and they can’t even handle a simple style like diagonal parts. Save your time and money—don’t waste it here. I spent $130 for them to redo the top of my braids, and they couldn’t even manage a neat cornrow. Do yourself a favor and click that back button on Google to find someone else on Merrick Blvd. And to top it off, when I mentioned I wasn’t satisfied, they all started yelling at me, insisting this is what I asked for. Just don’t bother.

I had been coming here for two years off and on when i normally go to Brooklyn, I inquired about a price, the owner told me $180 for something I paid $120 for down the block, yes I returned to show her that the amount of braids were not for the price she quoted because her worker stated twenty something braids , I showed her what I was referring to and the lady lost it, screaming and yelling in front of customers. Yes her price is her price but you do not get to disrespect someone who gave you business 7 times between me and my son, as a business person, owning a liquor store, I get customers who always compare other liquor stores to be cheaper than mines.
