Last year, they did a good job with a spring clean up, mulching, and wood chips, so I called Jim again about this year. He submitted a proposal with a price 50% more than last year's. When I called to ask him about this, he seemed to get angry; he raised his voice and said that he got "burned" on my job last year because of the hassle of getting wood chips. So, I told him to forget the wood chips and just do mulch. He said he'd resubmit the proposal. The new proposal was still priced higher than last year's, even though now it was a smaller job. Level Green has been taking care of our landscaping needs for decades, including installation of a storm water management system (bioretention "rain gardens"), restoration of flagstone sidewalk, seasonal cleanups, mowing, & snow plowing. Jim is a knowledgeable & skilled professional who we have come to trust & value for his advice & creative problem solving. Wonderful crews - we recommend them highly.
