Awesome program for kids. Both my children love it, and it has really helped them learn to focus and follow instructions. I especially like that it is on a monthly basis, so I can come to whichever classes work for me, as my schedule changes week to week.
Our daughter started at Cayuga Lake Seido Karate as a 5-year-old kindergartener. From day 1, the dojo was welcoming, eased her nerves, and has helped her gain confidence in ways we could not imagine. Every instructor is kind, obviously knows how to work with kids of any age, and wants kids to just try and persevere! It is clear every time we walk into the dojo that she is cared for and every instructor wants her to succeed to advance her skills and love for karate!
My daughter recently joined the youth karate group as a total beginner. CLSK creates a very welcoming and warm atmosphere, and the classes are fun, while nicely structured. It is enjoyable to watch the classes and see the joy in the students’ eyes, even through challenging exercises.
