I recently had an appointment at Southern Tier Family Dentistry, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care provided by Dr. Mitchener and Shannon, the dental assistant. From the moment I walked in, I was met with kindness and understanding that truly made a difference. I must admit that I was extremely anxious and even found myself in tears, but Dr. Mitchener and Shannon went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They took the time to explain my treatment plan thoroughly, helping me understand the necessity of each step. This level of transparency and communication was invaluable, especially considering my heightened anxiety. Despite my fear, the entire experience was surprisingly positive, thanks to the compassionate approach of Dr. Mitchener and Shannon. They were not only professional but also genuinely caring, ensuring that I felt supported throughout the appointment. This is something I have rarely experienced in a dental setting. What stood out the most was their patience and understanding. They recognized my anxiety and took steps to guide me through the process successfully.
