My daughter and I walked in today to get an estimate for a bedroom. The 90 year old salesman was so rude and mean. Don’t bother to go there. A waste of my time. Are we sure they sell carpet there?

The reason for two stars is Joel gets the two stars. He was a really sweet gentleman and knew exactly what he was talking about. I was looking for a specific carpet. Nothing fancy, but a softer plush carpet that most likely needed to be ordered because what was in stock wasn’t what I was looking for. The other issue is the second I walked into the Lake Grove location. It smelled of dust and old carpet. That turned me off completely, and made me rethink carpet all together. I’m not knocking the workers just the fact that the store could use an upgrade.

Went to see the selection of carpets for a small room. We walk in and look around for 10-15 mins at the rugs and brochures/samples. I am not joking when I tell you, the worker (guy in his 60s with salt and pepper hair), looked us up and down a few times from his desk while standing and did not acknowledge or ask if he could help us. Not even greeting! My wife and I got very uneasy with the experience and guy not looking to make a sale was just a cherry on top. Read the reviews and they all share the same terrible sentiment.
