“I could not possibly have been more impressed with my experience with Fay and Dave At Cool Cats….. From the very beginning when I was searching for leather repair that could handle high-end ostrich boots, I discovered them simply searching the Internet. They appeared to be the only high-end leather repair in this entire area. I found them on a Friday afternoon in Kingston and called Fay.. She was absolutely lovely and when I explained I had to leave town on the Following weekend, she said I’ll make sure that my husband does these first and will have them back for you Wednesday night and sure enough I arrived when they opened on Thursday. I met Dave for the first time. I’m not exaggerating when I say my Luchesi Ostrich boots look better than they did when they were brand new….. if that’s even possible! Dave put full leather souls on as well as heels and reconditioned the entire boots. I believe he even put fresh insoles inside. They’re more comfortable than ever.
I could not be happier. I highly recommend them if you have any clothing alterations or shoe repair or any type of leather work and you’re in this area anywhere near Kingston, New York ….this is the place to go. They are not just experts at what they do but they’re lovely people.”
