About Rhino Records

Rhino Records is a well-curated record store offering a fairly broad range of categories, from pop to the very obscure. The store is well-organized, with a decent selection of material in VG/VG+ or better condition, priced at mostly competitive prices. Customers can spend hours and several paychecks exploring the great selection of old and new vinyl, CDs, and even books. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is super helpful, always willing to assist with recommendations or finding specific records. A notable feature is the well-organized jazz collection, and the staff can even help set up record players through trusted experts like Burt’s Electronics. Customers often find great finds and enjoy the variety of music, books, and comics available. The store is a lovely place worth visiting for anyone interested in music and literature.

I walked in, asking about a certain record, which I did not initially see walking in the store. The shopkeep then thoroughly searched the whole store and found it! Great atmosphere, super nice and personable staff, and a really well organized jazz collection.

I found the records I was looking for, got great recommendations for other music and a wonderful recommendation for an expert to help me setup my record player (Burt’s Electronics). I enjoyed meeting Rick and look forward to visiting the shop in the future.

After one visit, my conclusion is that Rhino Records is one of my favorite stores in the world. Like the other reviews here note, it has stellar curation of music, books, and comics. I went in to poke around the vinyl selection but wound up spending a long time perusing the store's great comic book selection. And the used literature is just so finely picked: only tremendous publishers and writers. What an absolute treat this was. My picks today were The Road to Los Angeles by John Fante, two volumes of Raw (the underground comic anthology), and Last Gasp's Go Naked anthology.
