“Edit rating from 1 star to 4. Nate @ Vestal NY Geek Squad deserves 5 stars++ as well as Corporate. However National Geek Squad poor communication.

Laptop under warranty stopped working. Son without car @ Binghamton University dropped @ Vestal a week ago. U can’t get a person @ actual store to talk to u. Got 4 different answers with status Natl Geek squad 1) Hardware needs to be shipped out 2) Replacement 3) Working on it 4) Fixed & ready to pick up but an actual appt to get is 2 weeks. We paid for a 3 year warranty as fyi with Best Buy.

My son picked up w/o appt told to trust it’s repaired or wait 3 hours to see it works in store. Well back @ dorm with same error message and hardware not working. On call with Best Buy, 2 more weeks earliest with appt to look at it but Manager calling me tonight (didn’t happen)!! Next day Nate called & apologized for error & fixed my son’s laptop on the spot when he returned to store 3rd time. He went above & beyond. Corporate also called me after sending experience by email. This reinstalled that Best Buy rights a wrong & is listening.“
