After some searching I found The Mill, highly regarded for its artistry, emphasis on individuality, alternative vibe, and attention to detail-- all of which I was, and have been, looking for. Admittedly I was a bit shy about asking for a simple cut so I was beating around the bush about what I wanted, but Anna made me a delicious cup of coffee and in the meantime asked me to find a photo. Once I tracked down something akin to what I wanted, she got it right away and went to work. Now, given how short I was going, Anna could have just started hacking away, but they didn't-- I was shocked with how meticulous the initial cuts and clips were. In fact in other places it might've been a 10-15 minute haircut-- but Anna took her time, and it was well worth it. To make a winding and rambling review short, Anna gave me what is probably the best short hair cut of my life, leaving me feeling refreshed anew. And my wife, likely future patron, loves it too.“

Simon at the front desk, the wonderful woman who washed my hair and waxed my eyebrows, and my stylist Joey all made me feel so comfortable. They offered me a drink, gave me the Wi-Fi password, and made conversation that felt so genuine.

Joey was amazing. He took the time to really understand what I wanted instead of just starting to cut. We talked about my goals, how much styling I wanted to do each morning, and what would work best for my hair. He completely transformed it! My hair looks so much healthier, fuller, and has so much more movement now. The bangs were the part I was most nervous about, but he absolutely nailed them. They’re effortless, frame my face perfectly, and look great whether my hair is down or in a ponytail.

I also had my eyebrows waxed, and they came out great. Joey even recommended a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner that I’m excited to try.

This was honestly one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone was professional, kind, and made what could have been a stressful appointment feel relaxing and fun. I already can’t wait to come back in a few months for a trim and maybe even some highlights. Highly recommend!“

This place is unbelievable not only did they wash their hair.
