Used this attorney to purchase a parcel of vacant land . It was a cash deal that she stretched out for 7 months. The reason we used her is she was familiar with the property she closed on this parcel years ago. Numerous e-mails 31 and telephone calls that were hardly ever answered to try to resolve this issue. Very unprofessional , would never recommend her to anyone. But she was prompt in sending her bill. I would like to rate no stars.

This attorney presided over a small claims case I filed against a local merchant in the town of Fremont, where she was a Town Justice. What followed was simply outrageous. The problem came after the case was heard: nothing. No decision. I waited a few months. I called to ask about the status of the case. No callback. Remember that there is no court clerk so I HAD to call the judge. Her discourtesy in not responding was abominable. But it gets worse. A few months later -- it is now FOURTEEN MONTHS since the case was tried -- I called the other side's lawyer, and he said he hadn't received a decision either. So it's not as if something got lost in the mail. Then I called her office again. At that time I learned from someone at the office that she had quit the bench! She just waltzed off without handing down a decision! This was extremely negligent, to say the least. I filed a complaint against her with the state judicial authorities. I was told they had no jurisdiction because she had quit the bench. I have never seen or witnessed more disgraceful behavior by a lawyer in my entire life.

Here's what happened when I brought a small claims case when she was town justice in Fremont: A few months after the case was tried, I called to inquire about its status. I never got a return call. I subsequently learned she had quit the bench without making a decision. The case was left in permanent limbo, and I found out from my state rep that there is really no remedy in situations like this, when a town justice just doesn't do his or her job and then leaves the bench.

I have no idea how this person is as an attorney, but I can personally attest that her conduct as a town justice was wanting, based on the foregoing. I certainly hope that she shows more courtesy...read full review
