Snip Snip Unisex Salon & Spa

My experience with Snip Porvorim has left me with a bad taste in the mouth. I will not return to this establishment. I am a resident of Porvorim, Goa and I have been a regular customer going to Snip for the past 2 1/2 years - and I have recommended them to friends/ family visiting. Around my birthday this May I decided to go for a full body massage. I cant recall the name of the masseuse but from the start of the massage I had a feeling that she wasnt very experienced. I still thought based on my past experiences I should give her a chance. However, it backfired. I came out of the massage feeling unrelaxed, dissatisfied and could feel the beginning of a spasm in neck/ shoulder region. I provided feedback at the front desk. All they said was "we are sorry" and that was about it. I went home and the spasm continued to get worst so much so I couldnt look to my right and was in pain. The following day I called Snip to let them know that the massage had resulted in a spasm and I wanted my money back. And that this was something for which I could potentially need medical help - a physiotherapist, They kept insisting that I go back to Snip and let one of their masseuse fix it which to me was appalling. If I have an injury why would I return to the source of the injury? Why wouldnt I seek a medical professional instead? Then I was asked to come to Snip so that they could have proof that I had indeed had an injury. Phone call after phone call - I was passed around between the front desk receptionist and the manager - who then said that they would return my money only if I showed them a medical receipt which would be proof that I actually had an injury and I had to actually seek professional help. Having been a good consistent customer the doubt and lack of trust made me very furious and disappointed. I am in shock that this is the way Snip treats a regular good customer!!!! To me it wasn't/ isn't about the money any more but about customer service and how badly this situation was managed. I have been a consistent customer who has tipped well every time I have availed service and this was how I was treated!!!!🤐
