James was so kind and accommodating when I needed a cover-up. The lines are perfect and my tattoo came out even better than I had hoped for. The shop has a great atmosphere, he’s very professional and uses new gear. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Ithaca and highly recommend this shop.

I love coming here I get all my new tattoos done here and no where else I only trust James to give the amazing art and exactly what I'm looking for every time. He is so passionate and patient with all his work and it shows every time he helps give me a new memory to keep forever on my skin. If you want amazing art and fantastic results this is the place to come hands down!

I got my first tattoo from James back in July. It has healed very well and others often compliment how detailed it is. I’ll definitely seek out Model Citizen first should I ever require another tattoo.
