Found a severely injured kitten on the sidewalk. Could NOT leave her to die. Brought her up to the hospital and the staff took her right in. They were very nice. They have a Samaritan policy where you can bring a found animal and get it treated without financial responsibility if it’s not yours. I was so worried about having to spend a small fortune on an animal that’s not even mine and was so grateful to have a safe place to leave her for treatment.
This was my first time going to Cornell with my golden retriever for an emergency. I was beyond impressed with the degree of professionalism and thoroughness. I was kept informed every step of the way. I had to leave him overnight but knew in my heart he was going to be cared for. Beyond happy to have him home and I can’t say enough amazing things about Cornell.
Dr. Buchanan and Steve her student in cardiology were wonderful today. Even with an emotional situation with a very guarded prognosis for our boy, they were both nothing but professional. We finally were able to get a better understanding of what was going on with our dog after a month.
We are very thankful for the advice, knowledge and understanding they were able to offer us today. We will always refer anyone we know to go here for emergency situations and cardiac concerns. If we would have come to Cornell first we would have had more answers a month ago.
Thank you again for your compassion, your professionalism and your empathy. Top tier treatment all...read full review
